It´s finally here!
2010 has been a crazy year, with my first solo show, all the great feedback and amazing invitations i had as a result of that project, moving to Barcelona and embracing a different challenge, and all the cool projects i have going on, but some of them must remain secret for the moment…
In this Hot Summer Update i show some projects i´ve been developing this last year, as magazine illustrations, album artworks, bicycle customizations, t- shirt designs, and some personal projects in the making…
I look forward to the future, but for now, i give you the present.

FORMFIFTYFIVE!



the nice guys from FORM FIFTY FIVE™ invited me to create a header for their website, after such people as the ILOVEDUST, so it feels kind of good!

i wanted to do something different so i decided to create a short story…

this header is a 5 frame set, it´s a small narrative that changes frame each day for the rest of the week, so don´t forget to follow the website daily and discover what happens to a graffiti writter trying to make his mark on society in the middle of the night…

how to become a writer and blow it all up by entering the art world!

“Graffiti is not meant to be in a gallery, exposed as another art form, it should be on the streets, fighting the system!”
with this idea in mind the 24 years old illustrator with a graffiti background based in Lisbon, decided to create an exhibition about this strange world where kids run from cops, go underground, always looking for the perfect mission, the coolest style, the fame and glory that comes with becoming the king!
This is not a Graffiti exhibition, it´s a 6 step program to become a writer and blow it all up by entering the art world!

CANTINFLAS RIDES WITH STYLE!



i present you Cantinflas Rides With Style, the coaster brake bicycle i costumized for my girlfriend!
this is the most fun work i did lately, chosing the parts, built by the cool guys from Ciclone, and finally, giving it my personal touch with some nice illustrations and typography around the frame and fork…Now i can´t wait to create one for me and if things go well, for other people too!

GOING FREELANCE



Hell yeah!
after almost two years working at D7, i finally decided to go freelance, so i can develop some personal projects and work on more creative stuff...
but of course, this new life is full of surprises, nothing is sure, but i guess that´s the fun of it, right?
